Tried to do 5x880, but the first one turned into a 440 because I am so rusty on speed at this distance and it took two to get the guts to feel the pain. So, 440 at 75, 880 at 2:30, 440 at 74, 880 at 2:33, 440 at 76, 880 at 2:29. I can just start to feel the right place for these, I hope to get 5x880 at 2:26. I have to if I am to beat the most annoying nephew in the universe on July 4th.

Nice workout Dave. What recovery were you taking?

Whatever it took to put my lungs back in my chest :)

Actually, about 1.2 to 1 on average.

Hey, I've got an idea. I have the Provo City half this weekend. I have absolutely no idea what to do this week for workout. I just came off of three pretty beefy weeks, but I feel really good. Tomorrow I was thinking of doing the TM intervals with no slowdown on mile four, no matter what. After hat, who knows?

So you control my pain. Whatever you tell me to do, I'll do it. That should be fun.

But no tu-tus.

Dave, you take the biscuit when it comes to who's the nuttiest:) You're bonkers man. Completely raving fruit cake bonkers. Great stuff!

Your training is as scatty as you are - the inexorable link between form and content:) I wouldn't dream of fiddling with your finely tuned scheme:) If I did, you'd probably end up injured for life.

If, however, you want some longer term suggestions, I'd be happy to throw out some ideas. One thing's for sure, you're running well off some , erm, how shall I put this? Unconvential training means (mad).

I think, rather, I know, if you were to adopt a more 'balanced' approach to your training, your improvements and your desire for 'Operation Domination' could become a reality!

No matter what, keep having that sneaky toke each morning.

You so keelling me :)

Actually, I could use some suggestions, I feel like I am reaching a dead end these days and I want to really switch it up. I think I will take it pretty easy this week, I had dead but not sore legs this morning.
